Michael Zagare

PT Michael Zagare graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2006 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. Since that time he has practiced in the area of geriatrics and orthopedics. Michael has always been interested in "hands-on" manual therapy and has taken several advanced courses in techniques such as strain counter strain, primal reflex release, and myofascial release. Michael prides himself in continuing his education in order to bring the best possible physical therapy treatments for his patients. He is currently studying to become a Certified Manual Therapy Specialist. In his free time, Mike enjoys waking up extremely early to go to the gym, good food especially BBQ, and watching his tropical fish.

Melissa Schaub

PT Melissa Schaub graduated from Touro College in 1994 with her Masters of Arts in Physical Therapy. She has practiced in the area of orthopedics for most of her career with a strong emphasis on post operative rehabilitation. She prides herself in her ability to bring a comfortable environment to her patients for a pleasant and successful rehab experience. Melissa is currently preparing to take the exam to become a certified hand therapist. When she is not working, Melissa enjoys family time, biking, walking her two chocolate labs and traveling.

Khairul Pearson

PTA Khairul Pearson earned her degree from Suffolk Community College in 2006. During her education, she interned in nursing home, outpatient, and hospital settings. Extensive training was performed in an outpatient setting, where her manual skills were further developed learning MET and working with sports injuries. She educated athletes to apply sports-specific training. In St. Charles Hospital, her training and post-operative experience was acquired and she is still called upon as needed. With her well rounded background, Khairul also provides home care for patients in need. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, she prides herself in helping patients to get back into their active lifestyles.
